Feel free to use the guest lounge as a work space* or for socializing.

Automatic Check-in/Check-out Machines
Quickly complete check-in and check-out. When checking in, search for your name or scan your passport, then select your room.
Self-Service Cloakroom
Available before check-in and after check-out (free).
Baggage must be collected on your check-out day.
How to Use the Self-Service Cloakroom
At HOTEL TAVINOS Asakusa, use the Self-Service Cloakroom to deposit your own baggage for storage. Use your transit IC card to lock and unlock the cloakroom. (Please ask at the Front Desk if you do not have a transit IC card.) This service is available free of charge on the day of check-in and check-out.
1 Take out your IC card and enter the Self-Service Cloakroom.
2 If the light is blue, slip the cord through the handle of the baggage and insert your luggage for storage.
3 Press the black rectangular button. Touch your IC card to the spot that lights up.
4 The light will turn red as the lock activates.
Follow the same steps to unlock again.

There are both coin-operated and cashless washers and dryers. (You can check whether machines are being used on the TV in your guest room.)
Elevator Security
For your peace of mind, the elevators are designed to prevent non-guests from accessing the guest room floors. Touch your room key to the sensor panel inside the elevator to automatically enter your room floor.
Vending Machines
Guests can use the beverage vending machines in the coin-operated laundry room.
Foreign Currency Exchange Kiosks
Foreign currency exchange kiosks support 15 languages and 14 currencies that can be changed to Japanese yen. Although the kiosks enable foreign currency to be exchanged for yen, they do not support exchanging yen for foreign currency.

Eco-friendly Housekeeping
For environmental reasons, room cleaning during your stay is generally limited to changing towels and collecting garbage. However, beds are made, bed linens changed, and bathrooms cleaned (free of charge) every three days, counting from the day after you check in. Use the “Cleaning required” tag to notify staff if you need your bed made, bed linens changed, or bathroom cleaned (¥2,200/day, tax incl.) on additional days.

Free Local Tours
Attendants who are deeply familiar with the local area around the hotel will take you on a 90-minute tour. There are two tour options: a classic tour around the Sensoji Temple area, and a more niche tour through Kappabashi Dougu Street for advanced guests, which digs more deeply into Asakusa’s traditional friendly atmosphere as a commercial and working-class neighborhood.
