What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in after 3:00 p.m.
Check-out by 11:00 a.m.
(Check-in and check-out times depend on the specifics of your reservation plan.)
Early check-in and late check-out are available for an additional cost of 1,100 yen per hour (tax incl.).
May not be possible to accommodate based on room status on the day of your stay. Thank you for your understanding.
Does the entrance have a curfew?
To prevent issues from arising, we lock the front entrance between midnight and 6:00 a.m.
If you need to get in after midnight, please use the intercom beside the entrance.
(After check-in, you can get in and out using your room key card.)
Accommodation
Are guest rooms cleaned every day?
For environmental reasons, room cleaning during your stay is generally limited to changing towels and collecting garbage.
However, beds are made, bed linens changed, and bathrooms cleaned (free of charge) every three days, counting from the day after you check in.
Use the “Cleaning required” tag to notify staff if you need your bed made, bed linens changed, or bathroom cleaned (¥2,200/day, tax incl.) on additional days.
What amenities does the hotel provide?

What sizes are the pajamas?
Nightwear (gown) is only available in free size.
No children’s pajamas available.
Do you provide wakeup calls?
Yes. Please contact the front desk.
Do you have a laundry service or coin-operated laundry?
Our hotel does not offer a laundry service.
There are paid coin-operated laundry machines (washer-dryer) in the hotel.
(Detergent is added automatically.)
Laundry machine usage can be checked using TVs in each room.
Dining
Can I get breakfast service?
Sorry, but our hotel does not serve breakfast.
Drinks (6:30 a.m. – midnight) and bread and pastries (6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., or earlier if the bread runs out) are offered in the lobby and lounge.
Is there a microwave?
Yes, in the lobby.
Is there an ice machine?
Yes, in the lobby.

Can I send baggage to the hotel?
If you are sending baggage to the hotel, please write both the “Date of stay” and “Name of guest” on the invoice and send it to the following address:

Please note that we cannot accept refrigerated or frozen products, dangerous goods, or packages that require cash on delivery.
Mail order pickup is only allowed if the goods are already paid for.
Can I send baggage from the hotel?
Our hotel does not handle outgoing deliveries.
Please use the convenience store on the first floor.
If I arrive before my check-in time, can I deposit my bags with the hotel?
Please use the self-service cloakroom in the lobby. (Kyoto has a Baggage Keeper instead.)
However, we cannot accept valuable or breakable items.
How do I dispose of my suitcase?
Disposal is possible for a fee. Please ask at the front desk for more information.
Rooms
Do you have any accessible/disability-friendly rooms?
Yes. These are called “Universal Rooms” at the hotel and can be reserved on the official site.
What is an Adjoining Room?
This refers to a set of two guest rooms facing each other across a hallway. Use the door in the hallway to ensure privacy.
If using the rooms as a family or group, it is possible to go back and forth freely between the rooms. The rooms have different designs, so you can enjoy two types of rooms at the same time. Each room is 12 m² in size, and each contains two 85 cm × 195 cm beds, so the rooms can be used by a total of up to four people.
Can I smoke in my room?
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel, including all guest rooms. We do not have a smoking area.
Is there a refrigerator in my room?

None of the rooms in our hotel have refrigerators.
If you need to use a refrigerator at any point while you are with us, please ask at the front desk.
HOTEL TAVINOS Kyoto
There is a refrigerator in every room except the Economy Triple Room (bunk bed + sofa bed).
The refrigerators are empty.
Can the windows in the rooms be opened?
You can open your room’s window yourself, so please do so if you require ventilation or the like.
The windows are built in a way that prevents them from being fully opened.
Can I attach an HDMI cable to the TV?
Yes.
Do the rooms come with baths and toilets?
Every guest room has a shower and toilet.
Is there storage space in the rooms?
Suitcases and other large baggage can be stored under the bed.

There are vending machines in the coin-operated laundry room.
Is there a money-changing machine?

Are the elevators secure?
For your peace of mind, the elevators are designed to prevent non-guests from accessing the guest room floors. Touch your room key to the sensor panel inside the elevator to automatically enter your room floor.
Can I use the Internet in my room?
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel, including guest rooms.
Are there outlets or USB slots for charging?
Yes. They are located at tables in the lobby and lounge, as well as on the headboard of beds in each guest room.
Is there a parking lot?
Unfortunately, our hotel does not have a parking lot.
Does the hotel have a store to buy food and drinks?
There is a convenience store on the first floor.
Payment/Fees
Can I pay using electronic payment?
We accept the following electronic payment methods:
PayPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, au Pay, Merpay, d Pay
Can I get a receipt?
If you paid at the hotel during check-in, we will issue a receipt. If you paid in advance on the official site, we can issue your receipt online (within 90 days of your check-out date).
If you paid on a different website or through a travel agency, please contact the party through which you made your reservation (or where you made your payment).
Do children cost extra?
No extra charge will be applied for one child under 6 sharing a bed with a parent.
Do I need to have money when checking in?
At HOTEL TAVINOS, you will pay for your room in advance.
Please have cash, credit card, or 2D code payment method (payment in full only) on hand.
When are cancellation fees applied?
Cancellation fees are applied when you cancel a reservation as follows.
Please note this before making or cancelling a reservation.

“Event period” refers to the period in which a large-scale event (such as a fireworks festival, concert, sport competition, expo, etc.) is to be held in the area around the hotel. The dates of such a period will be determined by the hotel and announced in advance.

How do I get to the hotel?

I lost my hotel room key. What should I do?
If you lost your room key, please tell the front desk.
You will be charged ¥2,200 (tax incl.) for key replacement.
Can minors stay at the hotel without an adult?
Minors (those under the age of 18) may stay in the hotel without being accompanied by an adult, but they will need to submit a permission slip from a parent or legal guardian.
Please download the Permission Slip for Unaccompanied Minors, fill it out and sign it, and bring it with you on the day of your stay.
We may also request a government-issued ID to confirm your identity.

Can I bring my pet with me to stay at the hotel?
We do not allow guests to bring pets during their stay.
An exception is made for guide dogs and service dogs.
If you are bringing a guide or service dog, please contact us in advance.
