Lobby and Lounge
Feel free to use the guest lounge as a work space* or for socializing.

Automatic Check-in/Check-out Machines
Quickly complete check-in and check-out. When checking in, search for your name or scan your passport, then select your room.
Baggage Keeper
Available before check-in and after check-out (free).
Baggage must be collected on your check-out day.
How to Use the Baggage Keeper
At HOTEL TAVINOS Kyoto, guests can use the baggage keeper system to store their baggage. You can use your IC travel card (Pasmo, Suica, etc.) to store and take out your baggage. (Please ask at the Front Desk if you do not have an IC travel card.) This service is available free of charge on the day of check-in and check-out.
1 Prepare your IC travel card and select “Store.”
2 Select the size of your baggage and select “Confirm.” Then, touch your IC travel card on the panel.
3 Put your baggage in the storage area, making sure it will not fall out, and press the “Close” button.
4 Press the “Finish” button.
Follow the same steps to take out your baggage.

Laundry
There are both coin-operated and cashless washers and dryers. (You can check whether machines are being used on the TV in your guest room.)
Elevator Security
For your peace of mind, the elevators are designed to prevent non-guests from accessing the guest room floors. Touch your room key to the sensor panel inside the elevator to automatically enter your room floor.
Vending Machines
Guests can use the beverage vending machines in the coin-operated laundry room.

Eco-friendly Housekeeping
For environmental reasons, room cleaning during your stay is generally limited to changing towels and collecting garbage. However, beds are made, bed linens changed, and bathrooms cleaned (free of charge) every three days, counting from the day after you check in. Use the “Cleaning required” tag to notify staff if you need your bed made, bed linens changed, or bathroom cleaned (¥2,200/day, tax incl.) on additional days.
Tours & Events
HOTEL TAVINOS Kyoto offers local tours and lobby events for your enjoyment during your downtime or free days while traveling. Please ask an attendant about event content and timing.
Free Local Tours
Attendants who are deeply familiar with the local area around the hotel will take you on a 90-minute tour. Tavinos neighborhood walking course, Yasaka and Kiyomizu-dera Temple walking course, Kamo River walking course, and more.

Tea Room
The black-themed interior with neon lights is very Instagrammable! Please enjoy cultural experiences such as the tea ceremony, karuta card game, and sugoroku (Japanese-style backgammon/snakes and ladders) while sitting on the tatami mats.
Terrace
The spacious terrace is a great place to enjoy the scenery of Kyoto’s townscape and surroundings. The nighttime scenery of bright neon lights is also special to see.
