In many regions of Japan tsuyu (rainy season) begins in early summer, which is why June is commonly associated with high humidity and frequent rainfalls.
It is also a month, when people make simple white cloth dolls with smiling faces to hang on windows as a charm for a good weather.
This cute doll is called teru teru bozu and in our hotel we will be hosting a workshop event from 3rd to 5th of June, where our guests can make their own doll to wish for a good weather.

And as always, we will be having our Local Tours in June as well! Join us and explore the nearby power spots with our knowledgeable attenders. 💛
